About Creative Blocks

Creative Blocks isn't just about art; it's about opportunity. It's about empowering emerging artists and making art ownership a possibility for everyone. At its heart is a simple yet powerful concept: a 15x15cm wooden block transformed into a canvas for creativity.

But Creative Blocks isn’t just about nurturing talent; it's about making art accessible. Every selected block is sold at an affordable, standardised price This approach dismantles financial barriers, allowing new and seasoned collectors alike to experience the joy of owning original art. While seasoned collectors delight in acquiring blocks in groups, creating striking visual narratives, it's the thought of someone purchasing art for the very first time that truly inspires the Creative Blocks team.

And what happens when a collector’s taste evolves? Simple. Creative Blocks can be exchanged for new ones to ensure their collection remains vibrant and dynamic.

Since 2004 Creative Blocks has nurtured the talent of many artists with thousands of artworks finding homes each year. This inspiring South African initiative is now making waves internationally and proving that creativity knows no bounds when given the right support and platform to flourish.
