According to the latest issue of RISKAFRICA News, the digital newsletter of RISKAFRICA magazine, Sasria has recorded over R22 million in claims resulting from the #FeesMustFall student protests.

The majority of claims from the protests, which took place towards the end of 2015, are related to business interruption, fires on commercial premises, and damage to equipment and vehicles.

In another article, the World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report 2016 has found that failure of climate change mitigation and adaptation could be this year’s risk with the greatest potential impact.

Also, you can expect to pay more for medicines, because the Department of Health plans to allow pharmaceutical companies to increase prices to compensate for the weak rand.
