Now in its fourth season, the competition has already showcased some of the best young talent in the insurance industry. As a Gold sponsor, Hollard has all along been a strong supporter of The Insurance Apprentice and will continue to encourage the development of young talent in the industry.
If you are quick on your feet, driven and ambitious, then this is the right competition for you. To enter, you must be under 35 years of age and have worked in the short-term insurance industry for at least four years.
Visit the Insurance Apprentice website, fill out your application form and submit it. After the closing date, a panel will go through each application and come up with a shortlist.
The shortlisted candidates will be notified in October, and go into the regional elimination rounds in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. Eight finalists will be chosen to compete for the top spot in the actual competition.
The series will be aired and promoted online through the FAnews and The Insurance Apprentice websites, YouTube and Facebook.
The winner will fly to London, in business class, to spend a week visiting Lloyds of London. They will also receive a bursary valued at R75 000 from INSETA and a cash prize of R20 000 from the Masifunde Training Centre.
