Are you brave enough to bare it all?

Why we run

Running in a Speedo may seem wild, but it’s for a serious cause—testicular cancer is most common in men aged 15-35 and is one of the most treatable cancers when detected early. By baring it all, we’re encouraging men to be bold enough to check themselves and take proactive steps for their health.

Testimonial: “Participating in the Daredevil Run was a powerful experience for me. I ran for my friend who fought and survived testicular cancer. It was a fun way to make a difference and raise cancer awareness.” Angelo, 2019 Participant

The Daredevil challenge

“It’s 5 kilometres, a Speedo and an unforgettable experience taking place in various centres around South Africa. Whether you sprint, jog, or walk, every step you take is a step towards raising awareness and raising funds for cancer research. One hundred percent (100%) of proceeds from the event go directly to supporting testicular cancer research and other cancer awareness programs. Last year, we raised nearly R700,000, which funded early detection initiatives for men.” Oscar, 2023 Participant

How you can get involved

Even if you can’t walk or run this year, you can still support the Daredevils in their mission. We partner with trusted organisations to ensure that your contributions make a real difference. Donate, spread the word, or simply show up and cheer on the brave participants as they hit the streets with nothing but courage and Speedos.
